2nd Chocolate Festival of Bahia
The Uiraçu Institute in partnership with CDL of Camacan and ABATURR – Bahian Association of Rural Tourism participated in the Second Chocolate Festival of Bahia, held in Ilhéus from 2 to 6 June this year. The partnership organized the presentation of a Stand which showed the beauties and the economical activities developed in and around the municipality. This was done through pictures, banners, folders, products, plants and flowers, and representatives of the community helped explain the finer points.
During the opening event of the Festival the Mayor of Camacan, Mrs. Ângela Castro and several aldermen, as well as many members of the Camacan community were present.
The stand was one of the busiest of the display with many visitors so we are already planning to participate in the event of next year.
