Instituto Uiraçu, through its Environmental Education and Defense of Ecosystem Directorship, will be holding a course on conducting visits to protected areas between the 27 ao April and 1 May in Camacan, the Serra Bonita Reserve and Ecoparque Una. This course will provide a broad understanding on environmental education techniques, guiding visitors on nature trails, first aid and visitor’s safety. The course is aimed at IU’s team of Park Rangers and Rangers from other protected areas in the region, local community leaders and members of the Municipal Environment Council. The course consists of the following modules: Visiting in Protected Areas; The Importance of Environmental Education in Protected Areas; Prevention of Accidents and First Aid; Accidents with Poisonous Animals; Techniques in Guiding Visitors on Nature Trails.
